'Making A Meal Of It' is a BBC One daytime series for this summer fronted by celebrity chef and restaurateur Simon Rimmer.

We're looking for pairs of amateur cooks to have a go at being head chef and front-of-house manager for a day. Whether you've always imagined having your own cosy French bistro, an ultra-modern sushi bar or a cheery organic cafe, we're giving you the chance to run the restaurant of your choice!

BBC Birmingham's innovative series will give couples the chance to cook up a storm. We supply the restaurant, the staff and the diners. All you need to do is cook fantastic food and serve with a smile.

The couple that makes the most on their day, than the other couples in their week walks away with the whole weeks takings, up to £5000!

Are you a single mum and struggling to cope?

Would you like to try an alternative way of living?

In this series we will explore whether single mothers, who are struggling to cope on their own or finding it difficult to realise their true potential, can transform their lives by adopting an alternative way of living.

To do this, we are going to give ten single mothers and their children the opportunity to experience what it's like to live together in a group under one roof. The accommodation will be organised in a similar way to a house-share where everything is shared and everyone helps and supports each other.

In the house-share the single mums will share everything from cooking, washing, cleaning, shopping to socialising, dating and childcare.

If you are between 18 and 25 we'd like to hear about the experiences that have changed your life for a new documentary series that's currently in development.

Was it starting your first job, a loss or bereavement, or finding love, perhaps you've been in trouble and on the wrong side of the law or been injured or disabled, or maybe even had a dream come true?

Whatever you've been through that's changed your life we'd like to know about it.
