Do you have confidence, charisma and a competitive attitude?

Hard Sell, a popular daytime series for BBC1, pitches two teams of two, head to head to outwit and out-sell each other in a race which tests their energy, initiative and sheer will to win.

Filming only takes a day. Each team will be given one of two suitcases containing a number of items of similar value, with at least one or two items with some connection to the city. They will then have a day to sell the contents in the city centre and the winners are whoever makes the most money on that day. They get to take away the cash they make and the other team's profits too!

We would like to find confident, lively, chatty, competitive people. You don't have to be a salesperson (although that can help) all you need is confidence and the gift of the gab. A good sense of fun and the desire to win are key elements.

We hope that the teams will be able to draw from their local knowledge and their professional expertise to find the best selling market for their items (i.e. there will be some selling on the street and some in more specialist locations).

We are making a sensitive documentary, looking at young trendy grandmothers, who don't fit the stereotype of the blue rinses, knitting and bingo. If you are a gran who is in their 20s or 30s, or if you know of one, then we would love to hear from you.
