1. If you live in London or M25 area, female 18-40 and would like to join the Gemstones please contact us to arrange an audition . We are a 4 part all female vocal harmony collective with our unique take on popular songs from gospel to rock. We are particularly eager to hear from female tenors/baritones and good Soprano 1s who can reach those very high notes. We are in the process of building a repertoire for paid performances as we had been in TV shows from March - August 2008. Rehearsals will be unpaid, but the group has Management and a professional musical director who will provide their services for FREE during this time. It is a huge commitment, so no TIME WASTERS please, you have to be committed to the vision, development and success of the group as a whole. You may be required to sing out of your comfort zone or a different way to develop the group's style and sound.

2. If you know any young people 10-18 years old of Afro-Carribean, mixed race preferrably (other BME groups welcome), who love to sing, dance and act and want to join a superb new traditional/alternative performance group to appear on TV in 2009 You will be mentored by the same management team that successfully managed the Gemstones during the Last Choir Standing & X-factor 2008 auditions. Non-stage school auditionees welcome as long as you can adequately sing and dance. You will receive some training. Under 16 must have permission of parents to audition. We plan to start auditions in November/December 2008. Good luck!
