Enthuisastic fans of either Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, or David Bowie are sought for a range of projects with a visual artist, including performances and films. Open to professional and non-professional singers and musicians with a genuine interest in the music of these artists, and a willingness to perform or talk about their interest with members of the public. Current projects by the artist include a world record attempt to perform every published Dylan song in a day, with the help of London's musicians and buskers. Building on the experience of this the artist is now looking to recruit a more diverse range of performers to take the project forward. Sadly the project is currently London based, although it has and will travel again. The grand prize being the prestige of performing at this celebrity pair’s 2009 wedding attended by the world of showbiz and splashed across OK! Magazine. This show will have no rules about what constitutes a Wedding Entertainer, rather the public along with professional specialty acts will turn up at the theatre and try to wow the judging panel. |
