Zest Creative Arts is a dynamic youth arts organisation based in Lincoln. We have a huge passion to see children and young people from all parts of the community have access to the arts and engage positively either as audience members or participants. Zest launched in November 2007 and has already provided services for six thousand young people across Lincolnshire and the surrounding region!

We are currently looking to expand our bank of experienced actors and freelance youth performing arts workers for our forthcoming projects. Zest is on the search for creative, passionate and dynamic individuals with excellent approach to communicating positively with young people.

As a freelance worker for Zest you could be offered work on a wide range of productions and creative participation projects in an even wider range of venues and communities.

A Lincolnshire base and experience of working with children and young people aged anywhere from 8 to 24 year olds would be a bonus. Experience of working with hard to reach groups and / or children and young people presenting challenging behaviour would also be a huge advantage.

Media Company are looking for an actor who can play either the trombone, trumpet or double bass to play the roles of Egeus and Snug in their reworking of A Midsummer Night's Dream - retitled A Latesummer Night's Dream.

Rehearsals start Monday 4th August and run until Monday 1st September 2008, with the show running in a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre in Godalming, Surrey 2nd - 6th September.

Ideal for a recent graduate from drama / music college.

BULLY’S PARADISE
An anti-bullying production for primary age children.

We require
1 Male Actor (playing age 20 - 35)
2 Actresses (playing age 15 - 25)
Applicants must have a genuine interest in educational drama for children.
Strong improvisational skills are required.

Contract dates 8th September- 28th November 2008 or 12th January - 31st March 2009

Take home weekly wage of £325 and superb accommodation provided.
