Paid work. Looking for trombone, double bass, violin and drummer for Gifford’s Circus 2010 tour. Please apply for this position if you are interested in working with the acclaimed Gifford’s circus and can offer exclusive availability between: April 2010 and early September 2010 Rate of pay £275 per week, accommodation provided (bunk or caravan) incl bills and petrol if you are helping transport of caravans and people between sites. The Show – A new musical inspired by the story of Yasmin Smart, Grand-daughter of Billy Smart. Yasmin will appear in the show as herself with a liberty horse act, she will be joined with other international circus acts. Gifford’s boasts a reputation of excellence and continues to develop the live music aspect of the show. The Music – a new score by Sarah Llewellyn influenced by the band music of the1940s and musical comedy aka Spike Jones. You will be joining a band which includes alto sax, tenor sax, trumpets, sousaphone, euphonium, vocals, piano, accordion, Only apply if you are hard working and are willing to commit to at least one workshop week.
