Position starts NOW (1st November)
We are looking for an experienced entertainments couple to work the winter season on a holiday resort in Devon. During the winter season it is a quite resort that does attract a more adult and elderly audience with children attending during holiday periods such as half terms and Christmas. The resort is very pretty and has all the normal facilities such as club room, stage, pa, leisure facilities, bar, squash courts etc. and the staff on resort are also very nice and will help with ideas and have an input where possible. The activities that would take place range from daytime activities including walks, history talks on the building, treasure hunts, excursions, welcome mornings and various other events. The evening would consist of bingo, race nights, casino nights, performing a cabaret/show between you, adult competitions and disco. There are NO visiting acts on the resort as it is all in house which is why I need the ideal couple to be be able to perform their own act.
Package: The pay is £1500 per couple a month (self employed) + a flat on resort.
Plus the ability to earn extra money is available.

Major Production Company are currently producing a high profile business documentary series for BBC1. Next week the challenge we are setting our contestants is to host a launch event for a product on Thursday 30th October. To provide entertainment at this event the contestants will need some multi-talented performers just like yourselves & artists who can act, sing and dance. It will be up to the contestants in what capacity they wish to use their performers so it’s essential that you’ve got a vast array of skills and can take direction/choreography well.
We’re currently trying to find performers who are interested in taking part in this fantastic opportunity. You’ll need to be available on Wednesday 29th October for a casting session between 10:00 & 14:00 and be available all day on Thursday 30th October for rehearsals in the morning in preparation for the event itself in the evening.
The casting, rehearsal and main event will all be filmed for a BBC1 programme.
